What is Number of Completed Surveys (Total Number of Responses)?
This is the Total Number of Completed Responses that are there for your survey. In a Branched Survey this number signifies the number of respondents that have gone through the Last branch. A completed survey is one in which the final submit button is clicked.

Partial responses are also recorded where answers are submitted (may be using a submit or continue button or through branching or paging). Partial responses where the respondent did not complete the entire survey are not included in the Total number of Complete Responses.

What is the Started Number?

This is the number of times the survey was viewed and data was received (the survey may or may not have been completed)

What is the Views Number?

This is the number of times the survey link was clicked on (number of times the survey was viewed). Data may not have been received (the survey was viewed, but no part of the data was submitted).

What is the Validation Errors Number?

A validation error is a user (respondent) error due to both of the following conditions occuring:

  1. You have Validation / Response Checking turned on for one of your questions in your survey
  2. The respondent fails to answer the question correctly (Numeric Formatting , Required Response)
The validation error count represents the TOTAL of all validation errors for all respondents.
