A validation error is a respondent error that occurs because they did not correctly complete a given survey question. This is due to the occurance of one of the following conditions:

1. You have Validation / Response Checking turned on for one of your questions in your survey
2. The respondent fails to answer the question correctly (Numeric Formatting , Required Response)
